The Resting Spot

As you most likely know, few people can be trusted be secrets. In this chapter of our very long, 100% true story, we learn that a rather someone is certainly  not who you would want to share your deepest thoughts with. The thing is, that's a different story.  In fact, that story can not be told properly without telling you this one. DRIP. DROP. DRIP. DROP.  We were all in our raincoats even though it was hardly even sprinkling. You see, in Texas, even the slightest drop of rain is a special occasion. Violet tried her best to make it rain harder, for we were in a  drought, but she seemed far too drained to do anything really. Violet's eyes looked more tired than any sleeping beauty to date.
" Violet," I told her, " You are going to strain yourself out of existence if you don't give this up." Violet slowly turned her head toward me, " I...will never....stop....zzzzzz." I quickly leaped to catch her as I shouted, " VIOLET! don't fall asleep we still have 30 minutes left of school!" Violet opened one of eyelids halfway as she whispered, " so?"
I had to drag Violet to a large oak tree by the basketball court outside. " Violet," I said as i dropped her down on the bark, " wake up." "NOOOOO..." she  protested. Then, suddenly in the corner of my eye, I saw a nice, soft, patch of yellow flowers. I used all my willpower to lead the disagreeing Violet to the flowerbed, if that's what you'd call it. The minute a dropped her on top of them, rain started pouring down and she smiled through her grey, star wars hoodie. The air started to smell like a nice, warm, ocean breeze. Suddenly she leaped up seeming like her old, energetic self. " WHOO!" she exclaimed, " I feel GOOD!" I stared down at the majestic field of flowers which were now hopelessly squished. " so," I said, " What will we call it?" Violet happily yelled, " THE RESTING SPOT!"
The next day, we decided the whole group should know about this spectacular place in case they needed it in the future. " so," JT, or wolfboy, as i secretly call him, said, " Will it work for werewolves?" As he said this he started to whimper, which sounded similar to a puppy calling for food. Violet quickly whispered, " stop whimpering, it's EXTREMELY suspicious!" Marshall laughed and said, " to who? dog nappers?" Violet glared evilly, " haha, nevermind! haha! heheh.."  things began to get quiet until finally Anne, our "new recruit" broke the silence, " so, what DO you know about this so-called resting spot?" We all slowly turned while Anne brought out a small notepad.
